Kenya Kesho Trust helps make tomorrow a far more optimistic and cheerful place for girls from very poor families from Mshiu Village in Kwale County.
Kentaste is a proud partner of Kenya Kesho, and believes in investing in our community for the betterment of the people around us.
Kenya Kesho’s mission is to offer girls a safe and secure learning environment which ensures a unique opportunity to be better informed and to be better prepared for secondary school, and the future.
The Kenya Kesho School for Girls is a Primary School with Early Childhood Development and superb facilities for up to 240 girls – providing essential support through education, sport and art.
The girls in Mshiu Village face several challenges including early child marriage and motherhood, girl-child abuse, AIDS and FGM, Jiggers and many others.
Kentaste partners with Kenya Kesho to provide resources and support for the girls. Beyond financial support, We donate Virgin Coconut Oil and Coconut Milk to be used to enrich the girls’ morning and afternoon meals with all the goodness that natural coconut products have to offer. We have also donated coconut husks that have been used to prepare the soil in their gardens and greenhouses for planting the food the girls consume.
